DALLAS — This year will be a milestone for Dallas Pride, so they're wasting no time preparing for it.
Registrations are now open for people to get involved in the Pride festival and The Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade. Events for the festival includes the Dallas Pride Music Festival, Teen Pride, and Family PRIDE Zone.
The organization announced the open registrations on social media. Dallas Pride will be celebrating its 40th anniversary and organizers are expecting record attendance.
"We are dedicated to producing events that promote a diverse, inclusive and positive image of the LGBTQ community for more than 40 years," the organization wrote.
Applications are available for businesses and non-profit/social groups that are interested in being artists, exhibitors, or sponsors. Prices range between $5-$2,000 for organizations to get involved.
According to Dallas Pride, they have had over 300 vendors for the festival and 160 entries for the parade.
Registration applications for the Pride Guide are due on April 28 while the others are due on May 5.
Dallas Pride 2023 will be held on June 3-4 in Fair Park.
