Things to do in DFW this weekend: St. Paddy parties, R&B FEST, the world's biggest bounce house and more

This Friday is St. Patrick's Day, but North Texas has been celebrating since last weekend.

DALLAS — WAKE UP, FRIEND! It's the weekend.

I'll be honest, I thought DFW was partying a lot last week for St. Patrick's Day. But based on all of the Paddy Day events I found for Friday alone (the actual St. Patrick Day), I apparently haven't seen anything yet.

If you're looking for something that isn't related to St. Patrick's Day, I got you too.

Note: WFAA meteorologists are keeping an eye on severe weather threats in North Texas, so any of these events could be postponed or cancelled.

Here's what we've got for March 17-19:

Friday, March 17

St. Patrick's Day events (everywhere, basically)

Here a Pat, there a Pat, everywhere a St. Pat. I don't think there's a city anywhere in North Texas that isn't celebrating.

I found seven St. Patrick's day events happening Friday. But keep in mind, there's surely plenty more happening in and around the metroplex that day and even on Saturday.

Non-St. Paddy's events:

Saturday, March 18

R&B ONLY FEST (Irving)

Anyone looking for a dance party? Head over to the Toyota Music Factory for the R&B ONLY FEST.

According to the festival website, R&B ONLY is an all-day show with music from the past and present of rhythm and blues. The event will be full of sets from world famous R&B ONLY DJs and surprise guests performances.

If you're even thinking about going, better get your ticket ASAP! The website says more than 80% of tickets have already been sold. The only ones left are $75 and $330.

Other Saturday events:

Sunday, March 19

Bounce House America (Grand Prairie multiple weekends)

The world's largest bounce house is hopping into DFW.

Big Bounce America will be taking over Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie for multiple weekends.

Tickets are available for toddlers, kids, teens, parents, and even those who are just kids at heart. Starting prices vary between $22-41.

Tickets give bouncers three hours around the park. You'll have a specific time slot to hop around the main Big Bounce, but you'll also unlimited access to up to three of their special edition bounce houses.

Keep in mind, the ones you have access to very with each ticket. Also, pay attention to the dates and times you get tickets for as well as you time slot for Big Bounce.

Happy jumping!
