DALLAS -- Dallas will be the site this spring of what organizers are calling the world’s largest annual green exhibition.

Earth Day Texas will run three days -- April 22 thru April 24 -- at Fair Park.

“EDTx was established in 2011 because I knew the stereotype – that Texans don’t care about our environment – could not be further from the truth,” said EDTx Founder Trammell S. Crow. “After all, some of the best thinking on this subject is happening right here in our backyard.”

Confirmed exhibitors include Yale School of Forestry and the Environment, NASA, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

There will be home and garden products and services to help the do-it-yourselfers learn how to save water, create their own energy, and live in more sustainable homes.

There will also be art exhibitions, including a multimedia installation about reforestation in East Texas.

Attendees can enjoy numerous outdoor experiences, including live music, electric bike test tracks, eco-friendly car rides and drives, and tiny house tours.

EDTx will also offer an extensive menu of beer and food from Untapped Beer Festival and Savor Dallas.

The three-day event, held annually, is free.
