'At Cosm, the world is your stadium' | DFW's new immersive dome entertainment venue opens Aug. 31

Ticket pricing for the Cosm events come in different tiers, depending on where you'd like to sit inside the 87-foot-diameter LED dome.

THE COLONY, Texas — We're getting an inside look at Cosm Dallas, the new dome entertainment venue coming to Grandscape in The Colony.

The venue, which boasts an 87-foot-diameter LED dome, opens on Aug. 31 with marquee college football games including Clemson at Georgia and Notre Dame at Texas A&M.

Cosm Dallas also has numerous Premier League matches on its upcoming schedule, including Manchester United vs. Liverpool on Sept. 1 and Tottenham vs. Arsenal on Sept. 15. Other events to view at Cosm Dallas include the US Open and immersive art events "Orbital" and "Liquidverse."

WFAA's Sean Giggy got a sneak peek at the capabilities of the 65,000-square-foot entertainment venue and its LED dome. General manager Justin Renville said Cosm is hard to explain because there is nothing like it in the world.

"It’s very much so an overwhelming experience," Renville said.

For 75 years, Cosm built planetariums. The company's technology showed it could take you from the night sky to anywhere around the sun.

“Our dome really transports you into the entertainment, so you really feel like you’re a part of it and you’re surrounded and immersed by it,” Renville said.

"The Dome" is show-stopping and puts you in the middle of nature, art, or even as close as court-side/ring-side/pitch-side to your favorite sporting events. It's nothing like watching a regular TV broadcast of sports. Cosm has its own production crews at these games to strategically make you feel like you're there.

“At Cosm, the world is your stadium. Anywhere you can possibly imagine watching sports, you’ll get to experience that here,” Renville said.

Sights from the Los Angeles-based venue went viral on X earlier this month, racking up millions of views. Fox Sports host Colin Cowherd went to the LA venue and posted a video of Friday's Premier League opener.

The DFW location held a private watch party, too, earlier this month. Videos were posted by Ben Rogers of the Ben and Skin Show, as well as Peter Welpton of The KickAround. Both Rogers and Welpton were glowing in their reviews.

"Hard to really explain how truly revolutionary @CosmDallas is going to be for viewing sports in DFW… this changes EVERYTHING!!! HOLY LED MIRACLE DOME!," Rogers said on X

"These vids won't translate the real thing because of iPhone & Twitter limitations. Trust me when I tell you the visuals are excellent," Welpton added

Cosm Dallas: How much are tickets?

The tickets come in different tiers. A "Cosm Access Pass," which gives you access to Hall level 1, Hall Club level 2, The Deck level 3 and The Dome general access costs $39. The "Hall Club Pass" which gives you access to everything in the Cosm Access Pass except The Dome general access costs $22.

Tickets for the Dome are a little more expensive. Again, the Cosm Access Pass gives you the ability to take open seating in the standing-room area of the dome. Level 1 Reserved spots at the bottom of The Dome, range from $50 or $99 for a high-top table seat to $616 for a booth of eight tickets ($77 per seat, but you have to purchase the entire booth).

For Level 2 Club Reserved, a two-seat booth runs $253, a three-seat booth costs $380, a four-seat booth is $506 and the biggest of them all, a six-seater is $759 (all $126.50 per person, but again, you have to purchase the entire booth).

For Level 3 Reserved, high-top tables are going for $50, two-seat tables run $198 ($99 per seat), three-seat booths cost $297 ($99 per seat) and four-seat booths cost $308 and $396.
