Broadway Dallas announces 2024-25 Broadway series lineup; 7-show, 8-show packages available

The season includes four Dallas premieres and the return of audience favorites.

DALLAS — Broadway Dallas and Broadway Across America (BAA) announced the full lineup of Broadway shows coming to Dallas in 2024 and 2025.

“Our fabulous 2024/2025 season is packed with brand new Broadway hits and the return of many classics and crowd favorites,” says Ken Novice, President and CEO of Broadway Dallas. “We’re so proud to bring this lineup to Dallas and we can’t wait to share it with all of you.”

The season includes four Dallas premieres and the return of audience favorites. Here is a list of the shows and the dates they'll be performed:

  • Shucked – Dec. 3 through Dec. 15, 2024 at Music Hall at Fair Park
  • Peter Pan – Dec. 25, 2024 through Jan. 5, 2025 at Music Hall at Fair Park
  • & Juliet – Jan. 28, 2025 through Feb. 9, 2025 at Music Hall at Fair Park
  • Back to the Future: The Musical – March 18, 2025 through March 30, 2025 at Music Hall at Fair Park
  • Mamma Mia! – April 15, 2025 through April 27, 2025 at Music Hall at Fair Park
  • Disney's The Lion King – June 4, 2025 through July 3, 2025 at Music Hall at Fair Park
  • Life of PI – August 5, 2025 through August 17, 2025 at Winspear Opera House
  • The Wiz – Sept. 9, 2025 through Sept. 21, 2025 at Music Hall at Fair Park

Here is a breakdown of each show:

Shucked

SHUCKED is the Tony Award®–winning musical comedy The Wall Street Journal calls “flat out hilarious!” And nobody knows funny like economists. Featuring a book by Tony Award winner Robert Horn (Tootsie), a score by the Grammy® Award–winning songwriting team of Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally (Kacey Musgraves’ “Follow Your Arrow”) and directed by Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien (Hairspray), this corn-fed, corn-bred American musical is sure to satisfy your appetite for great musical theater.

Peter Pan

This high-flying musical has been thrilling audiences of all ages for close to 70 years and is now being brought back to life in a new adaptation by celebrated playwright Larissa FastHorse, directed by Emmy Award winner Lonny Price and choreography by Lorin Latarro. The adventure begins when PETER PAN and his mischievous sidekick, Tinker Bell, visit the bedroom of the Darling children late one night. With a sprinkle of fairy dust and a few happy thoughts, the children are taken on a magical journey they will never forget. This extraordinary musical full of excitement and adventure features iconic and timeless songs including “I’m Flying,” “I Gotta Crow,” “I Won’t Grow Up” and “Neverland.” PETER PAN embraces the child in us all so go on a journey from the second star to the right and straight on ‘til morning – your entire family will be Hooked! 

& Juliet

Created by the Emmy®-winning writer from “Schitt’s Creek,” this hilarious new musical flips the script on the greatest love story ever told. & JULIET asks: what would happen next if Juliet didn’t end it all over Romeo? Get whisked away on a fabulous journey as she ditches her famous ending for a fresh beginning and a second chance at life and love—her way. Juliet’s new story bursts to life through a playlist of pop anthems as iconic as her name, including "Since U Been Gone‚" "Roar," "Baby One More Time," "Larger Than Life‚" "That’s The Way It Is,“ and "Can't Stop the Feeling!"—all from the genius songwriter/producer behind more #1 hits than any other artist this century. Back to the Future: The Musical

Great Scott! BACK TO THE FUTURE, the beloved, cinematic classic is now a Broadway musical with its destination set for Dallas in 2025. Winner of the 2022 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, four WhatsOnStage Awards, including Best New Musical, and the Broadway World Award for Best New Musical, BACK TO THE FUTURE: THE MUSICAL is adapted for the stage by the iconic film’s creators Bob Gale (Back to the Future trilogy) and Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump) and directed by the Tony Award®-winner John Rando with original music by multi-Grammy® winners Alan Silvestri (Avengers: Endgame) and Glen Ballard (Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror”), alongside hit songs from the movie including “The Power of Love,” “Johnny B. Mamma Mia!

Disney's The Lion King

Life of PI

The Wiz

The Tony® Award-winning Best Musical that took the world by storm is back. THE WIZ returns “home” to stages across America in an all-new Broadway-bound tour, the first one in 40 years. This groundbreaking twist on The Wizard of Oz changed the face of Broadway – from its iconic score packed with soul, gospel, rock, and finger-snapping ‘70s funk to its stirring tale of Dorothy’s journey to find her place in a contemporary world. A dynamite infusion of ballet, jazz, and modern pop brings a whole new groove to easing on down the road. Featuring a book by William F. Hadestown
