BMW Dallas Marathon: a foggy start, warm finish

Fog or drizzle will be around for the start of the BWM Dallas Marathon, but is expected to clear as temperatures climb to the 60's by mid to late morning.

The biggest weather worry for the BMW Dallas Marathon on Sunday morning is going to be fog or drizzle.

The fog was thick enough Sunday that it was causing light drizzle, which could make for a damp start to the race.

Temperatures are above normal for this time of the year, with the start of the race temps into the low 50's.

Any fog will clear by mid-morning, temps will quickly warm and sunshine will become more abundant.

By mid to late morning, temps will be in the 60s, and by noon temps will be in the upper 60s.

Winds will be fairly light throughout the race. Any breeze will be from the south around 5 to 10 mph.

Best of luck to everyone participating!
