Firefighters recovered a body from the Trinity River in south Dallas just after noon Saturday, officials said.
A kayaker saw the body floating in the water near Interstate 45 and South Lamar Street and called 911, police said.
Dallas Fire-Rescue crews removed the body, which was identified as a man. His cause of death was unknown. Police are investigating.
