1 dead in south Dallas house fire

DALLAS — Dallas Fire-Rescue found a man's body inside a house that was on fire around 8:40 Sunday night in south Dallas, officials said.  

First responders received the 911 call for a structure fire at a one-story home on the 1200 block of Dalview Avenue around 8:40. Firefighters quickly put out the fire, but found the body once the smoke was clear. There was nobody else in the house, officials said.

At this time, both the cause of the fire and the cause of death are undermined and are under investigation.
